"Accompanying GOD's beloved sons & daughters as they wait on and respond to His movements in their everyday lives."
Hi, I'm Shaun! Proud husband to my dear wife Song, and we share a quaint little home in Placentia, CA. We're both first-generation Asian-American immigrants and have navigated many of the joys and struggles of growing up third-culture kids in Asia โ her in Korea, and myself in Myanmar, the Philippines, and Vietnam โ before coming to the US to build new adult seasons of our lives and encountering Christ's callings.
Song spends her days teaching children with special needs and managing cases for their respective families. Shaun was trained at Biola University's Talbot School of Theology, completing a Master of Arts in Spiritual Formation & Soul Care under the Institute of Spiritual Formation. Together, we share Life Group responsibilities at our local church, Antioch Community Church in Fullerton, CA.
I'm so thankful for the opportunity to journey with saints from so many backgrounds โ ministers, homemakers, businessmen, and students alike โ all in our imperfect walk of faith listening to our Good Shepherd's voice, allowing the power of the Holy Spirit to transform us, unto the praises of GOD.
Whatever small or distinctive nudge the Spirit impresses on you, it is my joy to help you respond in obedience and faith.
Spiritual direction is an ancient and sacred practice โ a regular, unhurried conversation where you're invited to notice and reflect on God's presence and movement in your everyday life. It's not therapy or advice; it's attentive companionship for the soul.
Spiritual direction creates unhurried space to slow down and pay attention โ to what the Spirit is stirring, where God feels near or distant, and what your heart is carrying beneath the noise of everyday life.
We meet one-on-one, about once a month, for 50 minutes. I'm not here to advise or fix โ just to listen well, ask gentle questions, and help you notice what God might already be doing.
What happens inside doesn't stay inside. As we attend to God's grace at work within you, it naturally overflows โ into your relationships, your calling, and your everyday presence in the world.
If you feel a nudge โ even just curiosity โ that's enough of a reason to reach out. Let's make time to respond to our LORD who calls us home.
First session is free โ let's meet! →Sliding scale โ pay what's available for your present season. No explanation needed.
"Why are you cast down, O my soul,
and why are you disquieted within me?
Hope in GOD, for I shall again praise Him,
my help and my GOD."
